How Spitzer Shield Works

Drivers who purchase new cars from any Spitzer dealership get the National Lifetime Powertrain Warranty at no additional charge. To use the National Powertrain Warranty, drivers must follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule and provide documentation. If the new car has a breakdown, drivers must have the repairs completed at their vehicle’s home Spitzer dealership.

To access the $1,000 Price Protection, buyers can get $1,000 off of their new vehicle purchase or lease by bringing in a written physical offer from a different dealership. The offer must be on the exact car with the same MSRP, year, trim, and terms, and be made within three days and 50 miles of the local Spitzer dealership.

Drivers who purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from Spitzer get a 7-Year/100,000-Mile National Powertrain Warranty that can be used at any Spitzer dealership in the United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. This warranty does include a deductible. Like all new cars, the Spitzer CPO vehicles also come with a price guarantee, but for three days or 300 miles.

This guarantee lets drivers exchange their vehicle for another one at an equal or lesser value. Drivers who choose the Spitzer Shield for their CPO vehicles must bring them to Spitzer dealerships to use the benefits.
